The Client.

Australian Amalgamated Terminals Pty. Ltd. (AAT) operates terminals with facilities for importing and exporting motor vehicles and general cargo at its various facilities. It provides facilities and access to stevedores holding licenses for its terminals. The company also offers approved Australian customs systems and procedures for stevedores and their contracted shipping lines, as well as information technology for cargo loading.

They recently took delivery of a new ASC Eureka M6 Diesel sweeper to clean their Port Kembla facility in NSW.

The Challenge

Cleaning a port is difficult. Ships are loaded and unloaded 24/7.

Roadways need to be cleaned daily to ensure foreign material does not finds its way into the pristine waters and create environmental damage.

AAT store various mining minerals in their large sheds which need to be swept clean regularly.

The Solution.

AAT recently went to market and chose the Heavy Duty ASC Eureka M6 sweeper to clean their port logistics terminal in Port Kembla NSW. The machine will maintain both their extensive network of roadways as well as their large storage sheds that house various mining minerals.

The ASC M6 sweeper purchased will ensure AAT compliance with strict EPA dust control emissions as well as reducing labour time cleaning and improve the overall aesthetics of their port.
