Client Introduction

Australian Amalgamated Terminals Pty. Ltd. (AAT) operates terminals with facilities for importing and exporting motor vehicles and general cargo at its various facilities. They offer facilities and access to stevedores holding licenses for its terminals.

They also provide approved Australian customs systems and procedures for stevedores and their contracted shipping lines and information technology for cargo loading. Recently, they invested in a new ASC Eureka M6 Diesel sweeper to keep their Port Kembla facility in NSW clean.

The Challenge

Cleaning as well as maintaining a port is a tough job as ships are loaded and unloaded 24/7.

Roadways require daily cleaning to ensure that the foreign material does not find its way into the pristine waters and create environmental damage.

AAT stores various mining minerals in their large sheds, which also require regular cleaning and sweeping.

The Solution

AAT recently went to the market to find a solution for their challenge and chose the Heavy Duty ASC Eureka M6 sweeper to clean their port logistics terminal in Port Kembla NSW. The machine will maintain both their extensive network of roadways as well as their large storage sheds that house various mining minerals.

The ASC M6 sweeper purchased will ensure AAT compliance with strict EPA dust control emissions as well as reduce the labour time and improve the overall aesthetics of their port.
