ASC MEP to the rescue No More aluminium dust

Introduction;

Moda Aluminium Boats is a QLD based company which manufactures commercial & recreational Super Yachts, Catamarans & Sport fishing monohulls.

Challenge:

The company was faced with finding a solution to capture the amount of dust that was being created in the manufacture of its boats.

This posed a big environmental challenge. It was becoming too big task a to clean the sheer amount of aluminium dust with brooms.

The company insisted on a cleaner workplace for both staff and visitors alike.

Solution:

ASC’s Rafael Rodrigues consulted the company and recommended the tried and proven low cost entry level ASC MEP push sweeper with dust control as a solution.

The ASC MEP was demonstrated on site and the Director who was present liked it straight away.

He commented that the machine was very easy to push and the sweeper picked up all the swarf dust & aluminium residues that usually stick to the ground.

The machine is easy to maintain & was now to be used on a regular basis replacing for good all the dust creating brooms on site.

Result:

The ASC MEP was purchased and has now a designated spot in the factory. It’s placed near the work benches and is used every hour to keep the floor free from aluminium dust. This has resulted in reducing the amount of airborne dust flying around the facility.
