Universal Cotton Supplier, Olam Cotton Lowers its Material Handling Costs with an Investment in the ASC M6

Olam Cotton, a worldwide supplier of cotton to the textile markets, has purchased an ASC M6 Sweeper to keep their massive Dalby (Qld) facility clean.

As local growers, all the cotton collected from their farm needs to be packed in bales prior to being exported around the world.

Olam Cotton has a massive warehouse where these cotton bales are stored and packed.

The process of storing and packing cotton is a very dusty one.

There is a lot of dust that finds its way into the warehouse. This includes farm soil, tyre dust from trucks and forklifts as well as a high quantity of loose cotton.

The use of the ASC M6 ensures the facility is kept perfectly clean. It has also reduced the amount of loose cotton blowing around and getting caught in forklift radiators, thus helping to lower material handling costs and boost production.

Our local Queensland Sales manager Raf Rodrigues installed the ASC M6 in the Dalby Distribution Centre.
