The Client

Australian Defence Apparel (ADA) is an independent manufacturer supplying and supporting the defence industry across Australia.

The company, mainly in Canberra, has a large manufacturing facility supplying combat undergarments, non-combat clothing and body armour.

The Challenge

The group reached out to ASC’s Nick Bilos, seeking assistance in finding a solution to manually sweeping the large complex, daily.

Due to constant forklift movement, tyre dust is problematic as it settles on the boxes in the warehouse. Plastic is also a constant problem, collecting on the floor.

Nick suggested to Richard, the Supervisor, that the manoeuvrable ASC heavy duty M2, was best suited to fit his needs.

The Result

The ASC M2 was chosen as the best machine for the site, due to its ability to fit in between tight areas, as well as having a small turning circle.

Upon arrival, Richard and his colleagues were ecstatic that sweeping was no longer a chore
