The Client

Bridgestone Mining Solutions in Mackay is the key service hub to the Bowen Basin. Their facility is uniquely positioned to service all major pillars of their business, OTR sales, OTR repairs, new wheels and wheel repairs.

The Challenge

Bridgestone Mining Solutions warehouse is based in Mackay, Queensland.

Running such a large Distribution centre, meant that their warehouse floors got very dusty with both external airborne dust as well as mobile forklift tyre dust generated while moving earthwork tyres.

Graeme from Bridgestone Mining Solutions contacted ASC’s Nathaniel Prasad; he was looking for a solution for their warehouse, as well as a solution for picking up off cuts from their wheel repair workshop.

Graeme wanted to eliminate manual sweeping and maintain the cleanliness in a cost-effective way.
