Col Smith Victoria Cleans Up With ASC M3

Client Introduction

Col Smith Sand and Soil is one of the largest independent Building and landscape suppliers in Melbourne.

The Challenge

Col Smith contacted ASC’s Ken Pepyat, recently, regarding the challenge they were facing at their highest site. They were receiving complaints from the residents around their facility about dust and stones being left on the road and driveway in front of their site. They had already purchased a forklift mounted sweeper attachment from another supplier; however, it proved incapable and didn’t keep these areas clean. So, they decided to purchase a dedicated vacuum sweeper that would actually work for their situation. The sweeper needed to meet their budget and be portable enough to be parked inside their facility without taking too much space. The sweeper had to sweep the adjacent driveways, as well as their footpath areas, to appease the neighbour complaints.

The Result

Once the ASC Eureka M3 sweeper was demonstrated at their site, Ben Afflick, the Site Manager, was impressed with the job it accomplished. So much so, that he immediately placed an order for the machine with Ken. He even had the machine road registered prior to delivery, ready for work.
