K-Tec Engineering Workshop Challenge

Client introduction

K-Tec Engineering is a medium sized engineering workshop, located in Malaga WA. It has a team of engineers, boilermakers and installers. They can fabricate at the workshop or on site. They specialise in structural steel and industrial metal work, platforms, and stairs.

The Challenge

Keith, the owner of K-Tec, saw the ASC social media advert for the ASC Eureka MEP push sweeper with dust control. He clicked on the link and was contacted by ASC WA’s Area Manager, Ross Sheehan.
Keith explained they have a medium sized workshop with a cement floor and it was swept by broom, every Friday, by the team of fabricators.
This caused a lot of dust, from steel, welding and grinding. Boilermaker Ryan had been seeking a solution for a long time.
Ross arranged the demonstration of the ASC MEP.

The Solution

Workshop Supervisor, Ryan, was excited to see the ASC Eureka MEP come in for a demonstration.
He cleared some areas as they had two big jobs on the go.
The ASC MEP easily swept the steel dust, it collected rivets, slag and other fine pieces of debris. All with no visible airborne dust particles, thanks to the dust control of the ASC MEP.

The Result

Ryan wanted the demonstration sweeper to stay and placed the order on the spot.
The lads now breathe better on a Friday and the SWEEPING job is done in a fraction of the time.
