The Client

Andrew and Nicole Santalucia founded Development Construction Pty Ltd (DEVCON) in 2009.
Development Construction is based in Bundaberg, in the Wide Bay coastal region of Queensland.
Development Construction caters for a diverse range of civil, earthmoving and land development services. From residential and commercial projects, road construction, bulk earthworks, to agricultural services including drainage, dam construction and pipeline installation.

The Challenge

Devcon were looking to invest in a street sweeper that could maintain their newly built roadworks, in pre released residential estates. Their roads required frequent sweeping, due to the continuous flow of trucks and machines entering and exiting the sites, from dirt blocks to the road networks.
The machine was also to be used for curb and channel sweeping before the land was handed over to purchase.
Devcon required a heavy duty sweeper that was transportable, easy to maintain and had an efficient sweeping system inbuilt.

The Result

The company purchased an ASC M6, low hour, Kubota powered diesel sweeper.

ASC’s Nick Bilos organised the pre delivery and logistics, to get the ASC M6 sweeper and a newly purchased plant trailer to Bundaberg.
