DSI Underground

The Client

DSI Underground, formerly known as Fero Group, is a fully integrated national steel manufacturing and anti-corrosion service company, providing products and services to oil and gas, mining, civil, marine, commercial, industrial, and residential industries.

They are located in Narangba, QLD.

The Challenge

DSI Underground Narangba’s multi hectare site had been using an ASC M6 rental sweeper for the past 7 years.

Luka and Trent, DSI’s Site Managers, had been looking to upgrade the smaller ASC sweeper, to a larger capacity ASC sweeper.

The site was too large and warranted a much larger sized sweeper.

Luka was looking at optioning up a machine which had an extendable brush arm to sweep along edges and gutters.

He also required a water spray system to keep dust levels down to a minimum, as the site is very stringent on supressing dust levels.

ASC’s Nathaniel Prasad arranged an onsite demonstration of the large capacity ASC Eureka M8 sweeper.

Luka and Trent were very impressed with the functionality and operation of the ASC M8 sweeper.

It ticked all the boxes in line with their environmental requirements.

The Result

DSI Underground placed an order for a diesel-powered ASC Eureka M8 sweeper with an open cab, extendable 3rd brush arm and water spray system.

The ASC M8 was delivered by Nathaniel Prasad, with a complete handover given at the point of delivery.
