Edge Drilling WA Maximises Labour Output

The Client

Edge Drilling is based in Wangara, Perth.
Their administration and workshop headquarters provide and supply drill rigs, service and support vehicles, throughout WA.

The Challenge

The company has a large facility and workshop in Wangara, that needs daily sweeping, to cope with the build-up of airborne dust.

In addition to the workshop, there are in excess of 10 carparks, as well as a large, concreted holding area, where drill trucks and drilling equipment are stored. These areas also require sweeping.

Prior to ASC’s Ross Sheehan’s consultation, the company’s employees were tasked with sweeping the facility, when time permitted.

In order to maximise labour output, the company sought advice from Ross about how they could get their warehouse dust free, in minimal time, with a quality sweeper.

They had purchased a sweeper previously from another supplier, which was a complete disaster.

The Result

Ross suggested that they invest in an ASC MEP sweeper, which would achieve the desired result.

Edge Drilling placed an order for the machine, with Ross.

Ross was able to deliver the machine to site the following day, from the ASC Wangara warehouse. The company can expect a 15 year lifespan out of the ASC MEP sweeper, in a heavy duty application.
