Expressway Spares Wauchope NSW invest with ASC Again

Expressway Spares have been in the earthmoving and mining industry spare parts business for over five decades.

Their head office in Wauchope (NSW) is centrally located between Sydney and Brisbane. The facility incorporates over 20,000 square metres of covered storage and workspace over the 9-hectare footprint. The company is a big employer in the area employing more than 190 people in this facility alone.

The Challenge:

The company has a very large complex to maintain. The site encompasses several workshops, paint sheds, welding and fabrication shops, wash bays, machine shops and a large sandblast shed.

Maintaining and refurbishing large machinery in a facility this size is a very dusty business.

They run a really organized business and cleanliness is central to their core values.

They had been using 2 smaller sweepers until now and recently decided that they wanted to upgrade to a larger sweeper with a lot more dust control capacity.

The Solution.

They purchased a ex fleet ASC Dulevo 100 Sweeper. By investing in the machine they were able to save a lot of excess labour time cleaning time and get some dollar savings by buying an ex fleet machine.

Managing Director Patrick Cassegrain decided immediately after the demonstration to buy the sweeper.
