Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Cleans Ahead

Client Introduction

Hellmann Logistics has developed into one of the world’s largest international logistics providers. It was founded in 1871 and specialized in high-performance products Airfreight, Sea freight, Road & Rail, and Contract Logistics. They are widely known and respected in the Australian logistics industry.

The Challenge

Hellman recently merged two of their Sydney Distribution Centers into one large mega center in Chullora, Sydney NSW. They found cleaning this huge facility and keeping it dust-free to be quite challenging. Hellman in Mascot had used ASC sweepers for the past 9 years and never had any downtime or support issues. However, this time around, they needed a much larger machine, so they requested a Heavy Duty battery sweeper capable of cleaning two acres per hour.

The Solution

ASC Eureka M6 battery sweeper was selected. The M6 sweeper was fitted with a large traction battery pack, which enabled the machine to run for up to 8 hours per charge. The effect that the M6 sweeper has had on the cleanliness, as well as the overall operation of the new mega DC, has been quite profound. The facility is now swept so clean that the warehouse and concrete aprons shine and are 100% dust-free.
