Kounis Group Secures Ultimate Solution ASC M3

Client introduction
Proudly West Australian owned and operated, Kounis Group Head office is located in Booragoon, Western Australia.
They are renowned for their precision sheet metal work, electrical switchboards, cable support systems, mining enclosures, dewatering skids to name a few as well as service and maintenance audits.
The Challenge
Kounis Group have a large workshop that has been extended many times over the 60 years at this one location.
The facility consists of three warehouse / production areas & a large dispatch area where large vehicles move all the steel and products in and out of their site.
Operations Manager Chris Buck called ASC recently requiring a new machine to help maintain their production areas free of dust.
He wanted to eliminate manufacturing carbon dust and debris build up and have a system in place where his employees could sweep their external grounds to eliminate the potential of metal shavings causing tyre punctures.
With forklifts working inside & around expensive fixed equipment, Chris wanted a manoeuvrable ride on sweeper to sweep narrow areas as well as one that could sweep sections of his driveway periodically.
Chris asked for a sweeper with a proven record of successful dust control & capable of working in a harsh working environment to help him eliminate his dust issues.
The Solution
WA Area Manager Ross Sheehan consulted Chris and provided him with a few options.
Ross however recommended the Heavy Duty ASC M3 battery driven sweeper as the ultimate solution for this facility.
Chris paid particular attention to the model M3 being Italian made.
He couldn’t help but see the industrial strength in the product.
Chris liked the foot protection the machine offered his operators as employee safety is a high priority at Kounis.
The Result
An order was placed with Ross Sheehan for a new ASC M3 sweeper.
Kounis General Manager Dave Kounis was also involved during the negotiation.
He asked for an optional 24V vacuum cleaner that attached to the order.
This addition allowed for the companies’ operators to clean in between steel racks, once again improving air quality & cleanliness of their fixed equipment
Dave was on hand to take delivery of the new machine and be the trainee, with most employees shy to be involved.
It was great to see the excitement in the GM’s eyes as he drove around the site.
