Lithgow Public School NSW

The Client

Lithgow Public School, with approximately 450 students, is located at the western gateway to the Blue Mountains, in the Bathurst network of the NSW Department of Education.

The Challenge

The School has approximately 3000sqm of playground, which is in constant use.

The surface areas are covered by concrete and artificial turf.

Leaves, sticks, dirt and garbage are continually covering the playgrounds, which require daily cleaning.

The School reached out to ASC’s Scott Campbell for a solution, to help minimise the time required to maintain and clean these problem areas.

Scott suggested that the School should look to invest in the ASC Eureka M3 battery sweeper, as their best long-term solution.

Not only is the ASC M3 used by many schools around Australia, daily, for the same application but in this particular case, given the school’s age, (built 1875) the robustness of the machine offers a lot of protection against damage while sweeping. Otherwise, the unit could be scraping alongside corners and gutters, while sweeping.

The Result

The ASC Eureka M3 was purchased.
