The Client

Liverpool Plains Shire Council is located in the New England, North West region of New South Wales. They are based 45 minutes South of Tamworth
The Liverpool Plains Shire local government area is home to a permanent resident population of approximately 7,870 and covers an area of 5,086 square kilometres.

The Challenge

As an existing user of ASC sweeping machines, the council asked ASC’s Scott Campbell, about a replacement machine for their aging 9 year old ASC footpath sweeper.

The council’s main issue was finding a better solution than a conventional street suction sweeper, that was designed to pick up rocks, aggregate, red dust and copious leaves off both their oversized shop front walkways and aligning street gutters.
Scott organised an onsite demonstration of the ASC Eureka M8 sweeper, in the town of Quirindi.

The Liverpool Plains Council staff were amazed by the M8’s capability to easily sweep thick amounts of leaves and rubbish laying on the streets, in one pass.

The Result

The ASC Eureka M8 was purchased, as the answer for the next 10 years sweeping requirement, for the regional township of Quirindi.
