Marley Transport Industrial ASC M6 Investment

Client introduction

Marley Transport is located in the industrial suburb of Hope Valley, Perth.
Marley Transport started in the late 1960’s with one truck. The business has grown to a fleet of over 70 trucks, carrying grain, lime, livestock, raw materials and finished animal feed.
They also have intermediate warehouse facilities too.

The Challenge

Marley Transport has a large property. A large workshop to maintain the fleet, multiple open warehouses, large laydown/parking areas for vehicles and trailers.
They needed a reliable sweeper. The existing sweeper was getting old, access to parts was getting hard and it was time to look at the field to see what was available.
With large open warehouses storing grain and other light material, they needed a sweeper capable of handling super fine dust particles.
There is constant heavy vehicle movement within the premises and the sweeper had to be able to collect a build-up of nails and other foreign objects, to decrease the incidence of flat tyres.

The Solution

Russell Marley contacted ASC’s WA Area Manager, Ross Sheehan. Ross presented Russell with the ASC Eureka M6, a proven workhorse in industrial situations.
Size-wise, this machine was perfect to access the site’s waste bins, and pricewise, Russell could see an advantage of running two ASC Eureka M6s, one for each Marley site.

The Result

Russell placed an order with Ross during the site demonstration. He asked for the machine to be road registered and requested an overhead guard support.
As the two new ASC Eureka M6s arrived at site, the whole family were on hand to test these new sweepers.
