Maxipoint Steel Grinding & Welding Dust Issues

Client introduction:

Maxipoint has been providing high quality seed drilling equipment, since the start of modern cultivation technology.

They have a huge range of long lasting tungsten points, seed boots, seeder system and accessories for all tillage systems.

In WA they have been doing this for over 25 years.

The Challenge

Maxipoint’ s Edward Judd made contact with ASC, enquiring about a floor scrubber to help remove the steel dust and other debris.

Maxipoint fabricate all the equipment on site at the Canning Vale workshop and the floor is concrete but covered in dust from steel grinding and welding. Not the domain of a floor scrubber.

The Solution:

ASC’s WA Area Manager, Ross Sheehan, visited the workshop to see what was needed.

Instantly, Ross knew the site needed a sweeper.

The Sweeper easily collected all kinds of debris and dust off the floor.

The workshop has expensive computer controlled cutting tools, allowing precision cuts to pieces and to keep these machines safe and working, airborne dust is a big no,no.

The Result:

They decided to order an MEP to start with.
