Multiplex Sydney Fish Markets

The Client

Multiplex is an international construction contractor founded in Perth, Australia and currently headquartered in London, England.

Operating in Australia, India, Canada, Europe and the Middle East, the company specialises in high-rise buildings, studio, high-end residential, mixed-use, education, health and civil infrastructure developments.

The Challenge

Multiplex is currently constructing over 6,000 square metres of new public space. All located in a four-storey market hall setting with new restaurants, cafés, bars, fishmongers and specialty food retailers, as well as new public promenades, offices, commercial space and a ferry wharf at the Sydney Fish market.

Currently concreting below sea level, Multiplex have silica dust, screws, nails, electrical wiring and general debris that requires constant maintenance and sweeping.

ASC’s Scott Campbell was asked to advise Multiplex the best options they had available to them.

The Result

Multiplex purchased an ASC M3 for this project, to combat the silica dust.
