Mining

The Client

Cadia is one of Australia’s largest gold mining operations, owned 100 per cent by Newmont Corporation.

The Cadia site is 25 kilometres from Orange, New South Wales.

The Challenge

Cadia has an extensive workshop that they need to clean.

They have residue from the underground mining machines that covers the workshops and general debris to clean up.

The company closely monitors silica dust concentrations and is very conscious of exceptional dust control.

ASC’s Scott Campbell recommended the heavy duty ASC M3 sweeper, as the company’s best solution.

Scott also arranged an onsite demonstration of the ASC M3.

The ASC M3 was put to the test with Cadia’s engineers following the machine with a silica dust monitor.

The machine passed with flying colours.

The Result

Newmont immediately purchased the ASC M3
