Updated on Tuesday, June 29, 2021

Client introduction:

Nutrien Ag Solutions Geraldton and Northampton is located on the Mid West of WA. This is a huge area where farms have varied uses from livestock, broad acre cropping, fruit crops to specialised hobby farms.

Nutrien covers all these fields of land use as well as finance and food for the very important kelpies.

The Challenge:

WA Area Manager Ross Sheehan was originally from this area and dropped in to see the Northampton site.

The site had two large warehouses and a large concrete apron joining them.

Prior to Ross’ visit, Murray, the Northampton manager, was using a 240V industrial vacuum cleaner to clean both sheds. This was a tedious chore & involved a very long power lead.

The facilities main issue was forklift and rubber dust in the seeding season.

There was also a second problem with the regions famous wind blowing a lot of sand and other debris into the sheds.

The Solution:

Nutrien had asked for a ASC MEP sweeper to be invoiced.

Ross was heading to his home town and was able to personally deliver the sweeper to Murray in Northampton and show Murray on how best to use the sweeper.
