Nutrien WA Solves It’s Dust & Debris
Client Introduction
Nutrien Ag Solutions Geraldton and Northampton are located in the Mid West of WA. They cover a huge area where farms have varied uses ranging from livestock, broadacre cropping, and fruit crops to specialized hobby farms. Nutrien covers all these fields of land use as well as finance and food for the very important kelpies.
The Challenge
WA Area Manager Ross Sheehan belongs to this area and casually dropped in to see their Northampton site. The site had two large warehouses and a large concrete apron joining them. Murray, the Northampton manager, was using a 240V industrial vacuum cleaner to clean both sheds before Ross' visit. This was a tedious chore as it involved a very long power lead. The main issue of the facility was the dust and debris brought in by the forklifts and rubber dust, especially during the seeding season. Besides, the region is also famous for its winds, which brought in a lot of sand and other debris into the sheds.
The Solution
Nutrien had asked for an ASC MEP sweeper to be invoiced. Ross was heading to his hometown, so he was able to personally deliver the sweeper to Murray in Northampton as well as show him how to operate the machine efficiently.
