Client Introduction

Phil Gilbert Motor Group is well recognised Sydney based Motor Group with more than 30 years of experience. They sell and service vehicles and have a great reputation throughout Sydney.

The Challenge

Phil Gilbert Motor Group purchased a scrubber from another brand. They faced constant issues with breakdown, high maintenance cost, and continual downtime since its purchase.

Glenn Goss (Service Manager) took it upon himself to upgrade the machine. He asked ASC’s Scott Campbell to visit his facility and make a recommendation. He wanted to know why an ASC scrubber would be a more logical choice in comparison to other brands that were on offer.

Glenn’s workshop is one of the largest and busiest motor dealerships in Sydney, and he did not want to make another disastrous decision by investing in an unreliable brand. He asked ASC’s Scott Campbell to propose a solution for his problems.

Glenn required a scrubber that offered a long service life, was low maintenance, and wiped the floors dry after use.

Phil Gilbert’s workshop floor is typical of most mechanical workshops. They have painted floors with grease, oil, rocks, dirt and tyre mark stains on them. Their floors need cleaning every few hours.

The Solution

ASC’s Scott arranged the demonstration of both ASC’s Eureka E81 scrubber and heavy-duty MEP push sweeper to Glenn. The Phil Motor Group has two workshops. One in Lidcombe and the other in Croydon. Both needed to be addressed.

The demonstration proved successful, as Glenn (Service Manager) was completely impressed with the build quality as well as the performance of both the ASC machines.

The Result

The next day, Glenn ordered two ASC Eureka E81 scrubbers and two ASC MEP push sweepers for both the workshops. One lot was delivered to the Lidcombe workshop; the other was sent to the Croydon facility.

ASC’s Scott Campbell carried out the handover with full training for both sites. A great result for the Phil Gilbert Motor Group.
