Phoenix Packaging Central Coast NSW

Client Introduction.

Based on the Central Coast of NSW, Phoenix Packaging (Berkeley Vale) is the coast’s only manufacturer of packaging materials.

The Challenge

Phoenix Packaging has a large production and stores facility within a large complex. They store hundreds of pallets of cardboard in their warehouse, which is sorted and converted to customer print.

The facility is constantly on the move with packaged carboard being transferred from the dock to the production areas.

Paper dust and off cuts of cardboard find their way on to the production floor and need to be swept up in order to minimise dust build up.

The company had recently asked ASC to propose a solution to eliminate the costly need to manually clean the facility.

The Solution.

An ASC M1 heavy duty sweeper was recommended for the group.

Following a demonstration, the machine was ordered.

The machine would be used for 40 minutes per day to sweep the loading dock and production areas, to ensure they are free of cardboard and tyre dust.
