Presbyterian Ladies College
The Client
The Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC) Sydney is an independent early learning, primary and secondary school for girls, located in Croydon, an inner-western suburb of Sydney.
The PLC has approximately 1,500 girls from age 4 to 18, including day students and boarders.
Established in 1888, the PLC Sydney is the oldest continuously running Presbyterian Church school in NSW.
The Challenge
PLC Croydon have a large school, with trees spanning the majority of the open areas.
Previous to the school’s association with ASC, their groundsmen were using leaf blowers to keep the pathways clean.
The occupants of the school made complaints of the noisy leaf blowers and the fact that they were only blowing the leaves and rubbish around the premises.
They needed a solution which would collect the debris quietly and efficiently.
The Result
PLC went to the market with the aim of finding the perfect solution.
After multiple demonstrations and careful consideration, they came across the ASC M3 ride on sweeper.
Blown away by how versatile the ASC M3 sweeper performed, they made the decision to purchase the sweeper for all the concreted pathways and astro turf areas.
The ASC M 3 was delivered and commissioned by ASC’s Scott Campbell.
