Warehouses & Distribution

R&J Batteries, a leading supplier of deep cycle batteries have takes delivery of a second ASC Rider sweeper, this time for their eastern suburbs warehouse based in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.

The Challenge.

R&J Batteries have had enormous growth over the past 5 years. Growth requires expansion of warehousing space. The company runs 2 warehouses, one in Melbourne’s western Suburbs of Truginia which already has a ASC M3 sweeper and the other is the new facility at Doveton.

All batteries are filled with lead acid that is a dangerous substance. In order to comply with OH&S licensing rules, the company must maintain a clean and dust free warehouse. The company had another sweeper working in this warehouse from a competitor company that proved unreliable.

The Solution.

R&J’s Jason Handley from Truginina branch recommended ASC sweeper to the Doveton branch.

Ken Pepyat, ASC’s Melbourne manager was asked to consult the company and recommended the best ASC sweeper model so that they can overcome reliability issues with their current sweeper. He recommended the ASC M2.

The result.

The floor is perfectly clean. The machine generates no dust while sweeping. The warehouse is immaculate as is the front carpark. The result is happy staff, an super clean warehouse and the end of unreliability issues by investing in another tries and proven ASC sweeper.
