The Client

Sims Pinkenba QLD is Australia’s Market leader when it comes to scrap metal.

Their processing capacity, which includes five fragmentizers, shears, balers and granulating plants, operates to the highest environmental and quality standards to produce products that are recognised and sought after throughout the world.

The Challenge

The Sims Pinkenba site is a very busy and large capacity site.

They required a heavy duty sweeper that was designed to pick up scrap metal and dust off their roadways and truck loading areas.

Their new Pinkenba site is based at the Port of QLD, so the company had to ensure a clean facility to keep any debris entering the ocean plus keep the entire site dust free.

ASC’s Scott Campbell recommended that the site invest in an ASC M8 sweeper, to fulfill their very high environmental standards set by the Company.

The Result

Sims purchased another ASC M8 Street sweeper for this site.
