Client Introduction

WA Cutting Services, established in 1982, is a WA company providing precision cutting services in Welshpool and the Hope Valley. They have high-quality plasma cutting machines and CNC edging tools. They have successfully become the industry leader in the steel cutting industry.

The Challenge

WA Cutting has a large workshop with many fixed pieces of equipment spanning over 8000 sq. metres area. Their production process created a huge quantity of carbon dust from the use of sheet metal. Moreover, the constant use of forklifts generated a lot of forklift rubber tyre dust as well. The company also has a large area where semi-trailer trucks drive through to deliver and dispatch the steel products.

WA Cutting’s Hope Valley Manager, Andres, researched the market while looking for a reliable sweeper that could clean and handle his company’s harsh industrial environment. High dust control and a clean sweep were the main features he was looking for in the sweeper.

The Solution

Andres elected to purchase the ASC Eureka M1 battery-powered sweeper and WA Cutting’s sister company Boyd Metal Industries.
