Wesfeeds (WA) George Western Foods

The Client

George Western Foods owns locally based Wesfeeds.

Their new 4.7ha site houses one of the largest animal feed producers in Australia. It’s based at Hope Valley.

The Challenge

The challenge was to find a sweeper that could sweep up grain throughout the site, without creating any dust discharge while sweeping.

The company has very large internal roadways. Large trucks come to site to unload huge volumes of grain.

The facility also has very large production areas where they receive grains, then manufacture chicken and pig pelleted food.

Their biggest challenge is the capture of dust, grain, husk and pellets.

The Result

A new ASC Eureka M6 was purchased to maintain the site.

ASC’s WA Manager, Ross Sheehan, delivered and commissioned the new sweeper to site.
