Water: Australia’s Most Valuable Resource

Eureka Eco System Patent Updated on Friday, March 15, 2019

Water is undoubtedly our most valuable resource. It is imperative for us to survive and sustain life. But unfortunately, fresh and usable water is becoming increasingly scarce due to climate change and pollution.

Just to have an idea, our body is made up of 70% water and an average human consumes 1.5-2 litres of water each day in order to survive. Moreover, around 150 litres of water is used by each of us for personal hygiene purposes. It’s also a fact that our largest users of water are industries.

Industrial Cleaning With Hose

Though being a building block of life, water, especially fresh water, is in fact, very scarce. In Australia, we are faced with long periods of drought with water catchment areas drying up all over the country. Some parts of our county only get rain every 4 to 8 years. With situations like these on hand, water conservation is everyone’s responsibility.

Governments all over the county are encouraging people & industrial users to reduce water consumption.

SCRUBBERS AND WATER CONSUMPTION:

It’s a common knowledge that using a floor scrubber machine is more efficient than using a hose when it comes to industrial cleaning.

Previously, these scrubbers used to consume a huge quantity of water. Even today, most scrubbers on the market can consume up to 120 litres of water for every 40 minutes of use. Not only is this wasteful it also increases the cost of water disposal and leaves an environment blueprint. However, time and technology have evolved and the quantity of water needed to operate a floor scrubber can be reduced by 80%.

ASC Eureka machines are front-runners when it comes to water savings. As a company, we have developed an ECO Version available as an option on Eureka scrubbers that recycles water and reduces water consumption by 80% by using the ECOsystem. It is a patented technology which allows the ASC Eureka scrubbers to clean dirty water and recycle that water back onto the floor.

The average floor scrubber uses 165 litres of water to clean an 1100 sq. meter warehouse, however using an ASC Eureka scrubber’s ECO System can reduce that water consumption to as little as a quarter of that amount. We feel that’s an investment worth making.
